Carmelo was a patient in my clinic that I got to spend
the past month with. He had seizures and never put on any weight even though he was eating regularly. In the past week, he stopped eating no matter what we tried. I let him out of his kennel this morning and he had the saddest look on his face. I told our vet who looked him over and thought we were probably going to have to euthanize him. I shed many tears and asked God to let him go in his sleep. When I returned to check on him about an hour later, he had passed. I kissed him and thanked him for being my special helper. I will miss you, Carmelo. You were a very good boy!!!
